Sunshine Stays

Who said the incoming Winter months mean vampy make-up? Why not add a pop of colour to the crisp mornings and darker days? Although we can’t have that gorgeous skin kissed golden hour glow, we can still bring a flavour of sunshine and escapism to our aesthetic with daring eye looks and vivid lips. Why not add a simple splash of orange or pink to the crease of your eye or even safer, go for a classic bold lip! You can never go wrong with a classic red in the run-up to the festive season.

If you’re going glamourous for a friendly Zoom call, why not experiment with statement copper-gold eyes paired with a soft, smoky liner? That’s one way to bring the drama to your evening.

All Hail the Nail

There’s something incredibly soothing about getting your nails done. Although we can’t get out to get a fresh set, we can always try to create our own at home when we’re indulging in some much-needed self-care. Why not go for a deep warm brown or some simple mixed autumnal tones? If you’re feeling adventurous and patient, why not try a half pink and half tortoiseshell pattern?

Seasonal Skincare

This time of year can really wreak havoc on our skin – roasting fires and the heat blasting versus cold outdoor weather can leave our skin stripped of its natural oils, feeling dry, irritated and lack lustre. A few simple ways to combat this are of course H20, aqua or water – make it your best friend. Also, by patting (not rubbing) our skin dry after a hot bath or shower.

And finally, by treating yourself to a few natural moisture-retaining creams and serums. We are loving the rather polarising Dr Organic Snail Cream and the Honey Rescue Cream from Holland and Barrett, which leave our skin supple and soft.
