Ottolenghi is constantly tasting and testing recipes for his cookbooks and column in The Guardian so we don’t have to. We love this recipe as it is summery and fresh yet comforting and it freezes amazingly well so don’t be afraid to make double the amount and keep it in your freezer for days that you need an even quicker dinner.

- 1kg Cherry Tomatoes
- ½ tsp Caster Sugar
- 20g Fresh Basil
- 2 x Dried Chilies

Mary Berry’s 15 Minute Pasta
She trained at The Cordon Bleu in Paris and has been about for as long as we can remember so we trust this lady knows how to make a great pasta dish! This one is a rich and comforting spin on a traditional carbonara.

- 250g Chestnut Mushrooms
- 200g Crème Fraîche

As much as we love all of these dishes sometimes nothing can beat a simple carbonara, especially when you are learning from an Italian and keeping the dish traditional.
