1. Less is more – on hotter days, keep your base make-up light and airy. A BB/CC cream is perfect for summer, with buildable coverage with a lightweight finish!
2. Mattifying primer is a must – it creates a barrier between the skin and foundation which will stop sweating. An absolute essential during the annual summer heatwave!
3. Incorporate SPF into your make-up routine; it’s very important to protect your skin from potential sun damage. Yes, even in Ireland! SPF is included in certain foundations and primers, so keep an eye out for those!
4. Setting spray will help make up last longer – we recommend Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray.

A bonus beauty tip for coping during the summer months – to stop your feet slipping about in sandals or sliders, use deodorant on your feet! Who would’ve thought?
