Hi everyone! Stephanie here, back with another fun fashion blog post! This week, I visited Marshes Shopping Centre to pick out a few cute pieces I can bring with me into Autumn and Winter.

I felt so comfortable and safe while shopping, Marshes have brilliant safety precautions in place including a one-way system and hand sanitisers throughout the centre and in every shop.

Each year we reach the point where we try to transition seamlessly from Summer to Autumn fashion but are just not sure what to wear. Planning outfits can become quite challenging when we don’t quite know how the weather may surprise us.

This year we may have been left to feel that we did not get the chance to wear our favourite summer pieces so I am here to teach you how you can pair your most-loved Summer clothing with the Autumn/Winter pieces we are loving this season.

Summer Tops & Layering

A great way to use your Summer tops during the colder months – by layering them with a long-sleeved top, shirt or polo neck.

Example A: I have paired a cute pink bustier top with an oversized blue shirt and jeans for a cool n’ casual daytime look. These could be easily brought to life for night with a darker pair of jeans, knee high boots and a some jewellery. 

Add a Jumper to your Floral Skirt

Warm up your beloved floral skirts is by adding a jumper or polo neck on top. Be sure to add some tights and simple black boots for the perfect Autumn outfit.

Midi/Maxi Dresses

Midi and maxi dresses are my favourite staple during the chilly months – styling them feels so effortless and easy! Style over a long-sleeved top, add tights and some chic boots and you’re ready whatever the weather!

Mini Dresses

We all know how cold it can be here in Ireland, transitioning the mini dress can be quite the conundrum in Autumn and Winter. Tights, cardigans and teddy coats are your best friends in the cooler months and Autumn and Winter are the perfect time to take cosy layering to a whole new level. This is a great way to add a splash of colour to your Autumn wardrope.
