If you’re anything like me, you are probably in the process of retiring those shorts and t-shirts for the cosy cardigans and jeans we’ve put on hold since Spring. This week I visited Marshes Shopping Centre to bring you some Autumn 2020 trends that will single-handedly save us from our quarantine blues.

This Autumn is definitely unlike any other we’ve experienced, however whilst everything from dining out to heading to the office looks very different, updating your wardrobe for the new season is one constant you can rely on. Our upcoming events may look more casual and our gatherings smaller than usual but looking stylish is never cancelled! That’s why I will be breaking down the Autumn 2020 fashion trends you need in your wardrobe.

Vest Up

Shake the dust from your vests from yesteryear because sweater vests have made a comeback and have my approval this Autumn. When it comes to Autumn fashion, layering has always been the name of the game for both style and practicality and this year, the vest is a must-have!

Statement Collars

Perhaps one of my favourite trends has been the rise of the statement collar. From embroidered Peter Pan collars to ruffled abstract styles and sharp or exaggerated versions that command your attention, collars add that essential extra detail to any outfit.

Fearless Fuchsia

The abundance of fuchsia is definitely one trend that can push us to step out of the land of neutral and beige this Autumn. A bold and bright choice for Autumn weather, this colour adds new energy to seasonal staple pieces such as outerwear or suiting.
