The weather is getting hotter and we all need a treat to cool down. Why not let your Little Monsters make their own Frozen Lollies with less sugar and preservatives! This will keep them entertained for an hour and also makes a healthier treat for parents.
What you will need:
- Banana’s (halved)
- Lolly pop sticks
- Topping of choice
- Parchment paper
First chop your banana’s in half and place the lolly pop stick central in the side you have cut.
Melt your chocolate either in the microwave or over a bain marie- you can use milk chocolate or dark if you would like to make these healthier.
Dip them into your melted chocolate and then into your topping of choice – this could be honeycomb, sprinkles or coconut or a mixture of all three if you just can’t pick one.
Freeze them for at least 2 hours but once frozen you can store them in a freezer bag and take them out whenever you would like a treat.
