When it comes to luscious lips, we often give more importance to hydrating them. But here’s the thing – you do need to exfoliate your lips regularly to maintain a smooth pout.

From cold weather, irritants, air pollution, our lips usually seem drier this time of year, tending to flake and peel. That’s why a natural DIY lip scrub can be the key to gently removing off dead, chapped skin and in turn, helpingyour lip balm penetrate deeper into the skin.

Incoming supple, rosier and healthier lips this winter!

We’ve prepared our top DIY lip scrubs with your go-to ingredients from the kitchen cabinet in mind.

Why should you exfoliate your lips once a week?

To remove dry skin

To make lips soft and smooth

To keep lips moist

To make your lipstick look better and stay on for longer

Exfoliating your lips can prevent dehydration of the lips which may cause swelling, bleeding or dryness
